In Ilford, on the second day of the hustings, Boris wins over the crowd by promising to unite Londoners, get the transport network fit for the 21st Century and bring an end to incivility amongst some young people on London's buses.

Boris Johnson launched his campaign on Monday 3rd September in County Hall. Stating that he loves London and wants to make it greater still, Boris added "Londoners invest heavily in Britain and in London and they deserve a better return on their investment".
