Boris enjoys a night out at the dogs
The evening of Thursday 27th March saw Boris visit Walthamstow Greyhound Racing Stadium in East London. Before the evening events hotted up Boris was able to meet with some of the dog trainers and bookies as well as punters enjoying a night out at the capital's premier dogs track.
Boris presented the prize to the winner of the 6th race of the night, Winfield Ranger, before chatting to the Great Grandaughters of the founder of the track who still run the venue.
Speaking after an enjoyable evening Boris said:
"I've had great night - a brilliant night out for all the family. It was fantastic to get a real appreciation of the history of this magnificant old place from some of those who have helped make it.
"Winfield Ranger was a deserving winner and I'm looking forward to the next time I can visit Walthamstow."
