Boris goes to Borough Market
On Friday 21st March, Boris paid a visit to London's oldest market, Borough Market in Southwark.
During the course of his visit, Boris chatted with the locals, shoppers and traders about the issues affecting them and his plans for London when he becomes Mayor.
After his visit, Boris said: "One of the reasons I want to become Mayor of London is because of the sheer plethora of opportunities this city offers for all its people. Borough Market, like many markets in London, is a focal point of the local community, and I look forward to having the opportunity of returning soon."
