Boris continues his campaign in Surbiton
On Tuesday 29th April, Boris continued his campaign for the May 1st Mayoral Election, by campaigning in Surbiton.
Boris continued his campaiging with a walkabout on Claremont Road, meeting and greeting members of the public and gave an impromptu speech addressing the key issues of the people he met.
Concerned by the Mayor's lack of vision and policies where crime, the local environment and Mayoral accountability are concerned, Boris's message to solve these and other issues, like transport, housing and maintaining harmonious relations within London's communities, is resonating with voters.
Speaking after the event, Boris said:
"I am delighted to be back in Surbiton to remind the public that if they are fed up with a Mayoralty who's effects are felt most by those in the outer boroughs, they need to vote on May 1st for a change for the better.
Mayor Livingstone has failed to effectively tackle the issues which concern Londoners the most like crime."
