Boris victorious in final debate
On Monday 28th April, Boris took part in the final debate on Sky News.
In an energetic and confident performance Boris highlighted the present Mayor's inability to provide answers on a whole range of issues including rising violent crime, the local environment and value for money.
Speaking after the debate, Boris said:
"Tonight, we saw once again why it is this Mayor should have limited himself to two terms. He is tired, arrogant and mired in maladministration and this is shown by the complete disregard he has shown Londoners, not simply during this campaign but his previous eight years in charge as well.
It is time for someone who can unite Londoners from zone 1 to zone 6 and someone who is energetic and has the determination to tackle the tough questions. That someone is me, and I hope that come May 1st, Londoners will turn out and vote for the change this great city so badly needs."
