On Tuesday 22nd April, The Sun newspaper backed Boris for Mayor of London, and to demonstrate that support, Boris travelled around Westminster on the Sun Bus.

On the morning of Tuesday 22nd April, Boris went to Eaves Housing for Women near Oval.

On the afternoon of Wednesday 16th April, Boris took part in a live web chat with The Sun Newspaper.

On Saturday 12th April, Boris visited Southwark and Tower Hamlets, continuing his tour of all the boroughs of London. He was joined by Conservative GLA Candidates Councillor Phil Briscoe (City and East) and Councillor Shirley Houghton (Lambeth and Southwark).

Finsbury Park North London was the venue for the celebration of Newroz - the celebration of the traditional Iranic new year holiday. Boris attended along with 20,000 other people what is considered the most important festival in Kurdish culture.
March 29th, 2008. Boris travels to the Damilola Taylor Centre

Boris travelled to the Damilola Taylor Centre today to attend the Peace Tree Event - a community event designed to show young people alternatives to joining gangs, organised by Southwark Police and a music company called 'TwiceasNice'.

On Wednesday 26th March, Boris went to Valentine Park, Redbridge, with Leader of the Council, Councillor Alan Weinberg, to launch his plan to use money saved by axing 'The Londoner', to plant 10,000 new street trees.

On Tuesday 25th March, Boris Johnson, with the aid of Kit Malthouse, Conservative GLA Candidate for West Central, launched his latest initiative to curb anti-social behaviour, 'Payback London'.
